When you are in pain, words of comfort (or nice scripture verses, or exhortations to trust God) from someone who hasn't been there don't mean a whole lot. In fact, they usually tick you off! So I want to invite you to join me on a real, raw, experiential journey through understanding and dealing with suffering.  I'm Tony Stoltzfus, and this course was birthed out of experiencing the total loss of our home, which burned to the ground with everything in it in 2018’s destructive Carr Fire, one of the most destructive forest fires in California's history.  

My life message is about meeting God in suffering:

"God will make something beautiful out of anything that happens to you, if you engage it according to His purpose."

For the last 20 years, I've coached hundreds of leaders through their worst moments in life, helping them meet God and get heaven's perspective on their experiences of suffering. So I want to share with you what I've learned about meeting God through a lifetime of difficult circumstances.
