About Rebekah Van Tinteren
Rebekah is a classical violinist who has played professionally with Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and State Opera (SA), toured with Adelaide Art Orchestra, Co-Opera, Adelaide Chamber Singers and Jango (gypsy band), performed with popular artists such as Josh Groban and KD Lang, played at many festivals, and has recorded for live radio, TV and film.

Surprisingly, most of these accomplishments donít make her list of favorite musical moments. Those include playing for Ugandan prisoners, walking through a dump in the Philippines playing violin with a crowd of children trailing behind, and singing on top of Uluru.

Rebekah's love of music and people has inspired her to share her musical experiences, whether as a freelance violinist, in her own Suzuki Studio, founding and conducting community ensembles, or as a worship pastor in Australia.

She is currently based in Redding, California with her husband and three children, playing with Thin Places Band, Azul Strings (founder), at Bethel Church and tutoring at the Bethel School of Worship.

Explaining the Cover Art in Her Own Words
"When someone asked me, 'Why have you left your dreams?' I said that I didnít currently have anyÖ They got me to close my eyes and then I saw a picture of a tree with zipped up bags hanging from the lower branches. A couple of days later, I was pondering this and saw the tree clearly again--but this time I saw a monkey come down the trunk. Then, leaning across, it cheekily unzipped a bag and out swirled music.

"I said to God, 'You are clearly unzipping one of my dreams,' then proceeded to run through a list of what dream it could be.

His answer was 'no' to everything on my list! I then heard, 'Itís your songwriting dream!' I answered, 'Do I have a songwriting dream?'

This album is the fruit of that dream I didnít know I had. My heart is that you would still yourself to have God breathe on dreams known and unknown, and in the realizing you would be overwhelmed with the heart of One who is for you."
